NetApp AFF A70 NVMe Storage Array
NetApp AFF A70 NVMe Storage Array in Qatar
The NetApp AFF A70 is a high-performance unified all-flash array introduced in 2024 and running NetApp ONTAP. A single HA pair sits in a 4U chassis with two controllers, 48 internal drive slots, 256 GB of memory and 18 PCIe expansion slots, and supports up to about 6.6 PB raw capacity. It serves SAN over FC, iSCSI, NVMe/FC and NVMe/TCP, NAS over NFS (including NFS over RDMA) and SMB, plus S3 object storage, with host ports up to 200 GbE Ethernet and 64 Gb Fibre Channel. Clusters scale to 12 HA pairs for NAS. In Qatar it suits enterprises needing one platform for databases, VMs and file shares. AstenAI supplies, installs, configures and supports the AFF A70 in Doha and across Qatar.

Yes. Because the AFF A70 runs ONTAP, it can use SnapMirror replication with compatible ONTAP systems, which helps with migration from older FAS or AFF arrays and with disaster-recovery sites. AstenAI checks ONTAP version compatibility and plans replication for you in Qatar.
Yes. NetApp lists NVMe/TCP and NVMe/FC alongside FC and iSCSI for SAN on the AFF A70, with Ethernet host ports up to 200 GbE. NVMe/TCP lets you gain lower latency over your Ethernet network. AstenAI can design the host and switch configuration.
